Chris Rehm - Folk / Pop / Electronica - Texas, USA
Chris Rehm (of Caddywhompus) has just put out a solo album, awash in rain and ambient textures, it is a peaceful, stunning work, and very different from the recently released Caddywhompus EPs. Ice Dwarf - Experimental - Tel Aviv, Israel
Ice Dwarf's press description reads that they "started with a drum set and a fuzzy bass- two friends who grew up together started jamming in a cozy 2-bedroom apartment in Tel Aviv, Israel". There's a bit of Mars Volta-ish instrumental improvisation at times, but this i music better listened to than described- check out the very cool "Nao Nueve"!

Octopus Owl - Folk / Minimalist/ Visual - Kentucky, USA
Fellow music-blogger Lara (from Huevos) released Viva Mexico, a fab lo-fi, folky album, last year, which has slipped under the radar...until now! Listen now to the lovely "My Embroidered Pillow" and download Octopus Owl - Viva Mexico at Last.fm!

Nathan Rich - Alternative / Indie / Electronica - Illinois, USA
Also a music blogger (at Davy Jones Revival), Nathan Rich is a producer (for Dr. Negative and the Air Castles, which also includes his collaboration) and multi- instrumentalist, with music that would be perfect for video game soundtracks. David Gamboa - Acoustic / Rock - Texas, USA
David Gamboa, at 19 years old, has recently released his impressive debut album, Dandelion Heart. "All Things New", with its heartfelt minimalism, and "Ships", introducing epic sweeping strings, are excellent examples of Gamboa's talent, and are both available for free download!
